GETTING STARTED

Open the link to your account that was mailed to you and enter the username/password.

After logging in, you will be able to access your account home page which will look like this:



ACCOUNT INFO

Account > Listed Vehicles:

provides a listing of all devices available on this account. Devices cannot be manually added and these are listed by admin.

Account > Contact Email/SMS for Alerts :

It lists the email address and the phone number associated with the account. All alerts are sent to the email address and/or phone.

SETTINGS

Settings > Change Password:

This helps you to reset your password whenever needed.



Settings > Change Alert Settings :

Select which alert options are enabled. For each option that is enabled, an email is sent out to the listed email (under Account Information > Contacts). To disable alerts, select the "Change Alert Settings" option again and leave the checkbox unchecked for the alert option that you want to disable (while checking those that are to be enabled)



Settings> Change Time Zone :

Select the appropriate time zone as per your location.



Settings > Add/Edit Email/SMS for Alerts :

This option will allow you to add or edit contact for alerts associated with this account.



Settings > Add/Edit Vehicle

Settings > Add/Edit Vehicle > Choose Add + button:

This adds a new vehicle to the account. Enter vehicle first name and last name as shown below. After this select the device associated with the vehicle (this shows up after the vehicle first name and last name is submitted).

Settings > Add/Edit Vehicle > Select the Vehicle > Choose Edit option:

This helps to edit the vehicle name.

Settings > Add/Edit Vehicle > Select the Vehicle > Choose remove option:

This removes a vehicle (from the list of named vehicles).

Settings > Change Update Interval:

The feature helps to set the pinging intervals for Asset Tracker on the platform.

Settings > View/Edit Subgroups:

This will display the different groups and the vehicles belonging to each group. Sometimes it is desired to display only the vehicles belonging to a particular group and this can be done by using the "Subgroups" button at the bottom of the page.

Settings > View/Edit Subgroup > Click on Add Subgroup radio button:

This option will create a group of vehicles in a given subgroup. A vehicle can only belong to one particular subgroup. Once this menu item is clicked, it will ask for the group name and will let to select from a list of vehicles.

Settings > View/Edit Subgroup > Click on Edit Subgroup radio button:

This option will help you to edit a group of vehicles in a given subgroup. A vehicle can only belong to one particular subgroup. Select your group name and will let to assign/un-assign a list of vehicles to the selected subgroup.

Settings > Delete Subgroup > Click on Delete Subgroup radio button:

This option will delete a subgroup.

Settings > View Edit User Permissions

Settings > View Edit User Permissions > Add User:

This option will create a new user account that can access the mapping platform. Users can be given permissions for various functions such as to change alert settings, view reports and track history. Check the permissions for each user in the form - these permissions can be modified later on.

Settings > View Edit User Permissions > Edit/Delete User Permissions:

This option will allow viewing or editing permissions for a user. You can also delete users for an account.

Settings > View Edit User Permissions > Edit Subuser group:

This option will allow viewing or editing sub user group.





GEOFENCING

Geofencing > Create Geofencing Area:

This option selects the area for geofencing. Enter the address for geofencing. The map will be updated with the address specified. Then use the center marker to select the center of the geofence circle - drag the marker to the center of the location for geofencing. Then drag the radius marker to define the radius of the geofence circle - as the radius marker is being dragged the circle radius also changes. After the geofence circle is placed, press "Submit" button to monitor the geofence area. Also make sure that the Geofencing alert is enabled under Change Settings > Alert Settings and a contact email/SMS is provided under Settings> Add Email/Add SMS.





Geofencing > View/Delete Geofences:

This option enables to scroll through all stored geofence locations. To delete any geofence location, press "Delete" button after selecting a geofence.



TRACK HISTORY

Track History:

Select desired start and end date for viewing history. Select vehicle from the drop down list. Then, select the data points to be included in the chart as shown below and press "Submit" button.



REPORTS

Reports > Travel Log Report:

This option enables to list all the events reported. Events supported are ignition on, ignition off, tow alert on and tow alert off. Select date range and vehicle.

Reports > Travel Start Stop Report:

This option enables to list all the start-stop events of the vehicle. Select start date and vehicle.





Reports > State Mileage Report:

This option provides the states travelled between start date and end date for the vehicle being selected and the miles travelled corresponding to each of these states. It also provides the total miles travelled by the vehicle.





Reports > Mileage Report:

This option provides the mileage value at start date, mileage value at end date and miles travelled between start date and end date for the vehicle selected.





Reports > Fuel Report:

This option provides the fuel report between start date and end date for the vehicle selected.





Reports > DTC Report:

This option provides the Diagnostic Trouble Codes report between start date and end date for the vehicle selected.





Reports > Track Single Vehicle:

This option provides the current location of the selected vehicle in google map. It also maps the past 24 hours track history of the vehicle.





Reports > Vehicle Safety Report:

This option provides a "Vehicle Safety Score" based on some criteria, for a selected vehicle. It also provides a detailed report on vehicle safety score results for last 30 days.





Reports > Trip Report:

This option provides a detailed trip log report for a selected vehicle on a selected date including the following details per trip: (i) The start and end time, (ii) Start and end location, (iii) Trip duration (iv) Total stop time (v) Distance travelled (vi) Stopped location.





Reports > Current Location:

This option provides a complete report on the activities of all vehicles owned by the client.

Search driver On Map:
This option helps to choose one particular vehicle from the dropdown and displays the recent update on the platform.

Take a Tour:
Helps to navigate through platform and explains the functionality of each option at a glance.

Real Time:
Shows the real-time updates of devices on the platform.

Current Location:
Shows the current location of devices on the platform.

Last 24HR Chart:
Shows the list of vehicles on the platform, from the list you can select the particular vehicle which shows last 24HR chart.

+/- Icon on the Platform

This option helps to zoom in and zoom out the map.

Support

Helps you to connect with the Technical Support team via email 24/7.

Log Off

This option helps to logout from the Matrack Platform.

Map View/Satellite View

This option helps to select between Map and satellite views.

Show Arrow/Dots

This option helps to select between Arrows/Dots in tracking platform.

Show Past Location

This Option helps to show the past location of vehicles. Select date, Select Time and Select Vehicle.

Show Geofence

This Option shows the geofences set on the account. The option helps to edit, save and delete the geofences on the account.

Refresh Tracker Location

This option helps to refresh the platform. Once the platform is refreshed, it will show most recent updates of vehicles on the platform.

Roadside assistance

This option provides Roadside assistance during vehicle breakdown. All we need is to create service request by entering the vehicle location.
