What is hotshot trucking?
Hot-shot trucking is a type of trucking that quickly carries relatively smaller, time-sensitive loads to accessible locations.For loads under 10,000 lbs, you do not require a Commercial Driver’s License to drive a hotshot truck, but require to obtain a Motor Carrier Authority Number and be approved to drive by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
